Abuja Weather

The weather in Abuja is always warm and most of the time the sun shines bright. The temperature varies from 26 degree celsius to 40 degree celsius. Abuja weather is a “Tropical wet and dry climate”.

The weather follows two main seasons – a dry season and a wet season. You will know what to expect from the weather in Abuja. Even in the dry season you will find plenty of green areas, as the soil is very fertile in Abuja.

Rainy Season

The rainy season starts in the end of March/beginning of April and ends in October/November. During these months the climate is quite humid and the temperature will drop to 26-30 degree celsius. It get’s “cold” at night time with temperatures down to around 20 degrees celsius – but can also be chilly and get as low as 14 degrees. After a chilly night the day temperature will normally hits around 30 degrees.
